Old Pančevo

For the competition “Old Pančevo” for the design of the Gymnasium Square in Pančevo, a conceptual solution was made within the bureau AteljeAL from Belgrade, and the solution won the second prize. The authors of the solution are architects Darko Cvetković and Nina Erski. The solution emphasized that the space of the Gymnasium Square belonged primarily to the students of the Gymnasium “Uroš Predić”, which should motivate that space to various activities in the space and express all possible ways of their creativity. On the other hand, elements have been implemented in the space that acquaint passers-by with the history and significance of this space in domestic cinematography. For us, this is one of the favorite old projects because of the enthusiasm with which we approached this competition.
